Report On The Fleet Air Arm Show At Yeovilton

On Saturday the 9th February the Surface Warship Association attended the fleet air arm show at Yeovilton.

We had eight members displaying models which ranged from battle ships to torpedo boats. in all we had 21 models on display. This did cause me a few problems as we only had eight tables to display on, but fortunately i had some of our own display tables with me. so we doubled up the tables on one side of our display area, giving us a deeper area to set more models out on.

All models had information displayed with them and we also had a display board with photos on.

it must have looked very impressive as we won the best display stand at the show and were awarded a trophy and certificate. I would like to thank Dave Reith, Adrian Clutterbuck, Charles Davis, Roy Skeates, Chris Hooper, John Edwards and Peter Gilpin for their support at the show and the very professional display they all helped create.
